Subject: A Nativity Lullaby for your absolute beginners...

Uplifting and beautiful, this song will make everyone teary eyed and give them goosebumps!

Hello Friend,

Are you looking for Christmas music for your absolute beginners?

⭐ Something that will motivate them in their early days to practice.

⭐ Something that makes them sound like their making real music from the start.

Amazingly, I have an entire section in the Stringosaurus Resources Hub dedicated to Christmas!

Last night, I was putting the final touches to my new, beautiful, mesmerising and uplifting Nativity lullaby play-along video. I honestly get tunnel vision when I work on these projects and I was loving the process so much, I accidentally had quite a late night!

I brought the Nativity lullaby into school today and tried it out with a pretty spirited group of Pre-Primary students...

You won't believe it, they were actually silent at the end of the piece which is a first! Lucky for me, considering I was very tired! 😵

Seriously, take a listen here with the sound on and you will see how calming it is... There should be a warning... Don't listen to this whilst operating heavy machinery! Ha ha ha

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this video! Features of this lullaby are:

For your absolute beginners to help them sound magical

Only a short amount of time to hold the violin in playing position

Sing then play

Singing the opening notes D-A helps build the inner ear and helps with pitch around the perfect 5th

Practice playing on just the D and A string with string crossings

The hub is a comprehensive database packed full with over 80 (& growing) fun and creative ideas, games, stories, play-along videos, and songs.

These transformative resources are aimed primarily for beginner violin students aged between 3-8, although many of the resources can also be adapted for older beginners.

"I adore how creative and imaginative the Stringosaurus approach is, and I will certainly use the new online hub to complement my violin and viola lessons!” Sancha. F-V (Scotland)
