Valentine's is a funny one for me. I once made a boy a Valentine's Day card when I was about 9 at school. He was specially chosen, because I loved his mum. She was the wife of a Vicar and she played with the most exquisite vibrato on her violin. When I gave the homemade card to the boy, he ripped it up in front of me and threw it in the bin.
The first Valentine's card I actually received was over ten years later... worth the wait because he is my husband!
