The countdown has begun! Here are some tips to ensure you're all set for an epic Create-a-Thon experience: Pack the tools you’ll need to create your epic adventure (that’s whatever you normally use for your creative niche: laptops + chargers, tablets, cameras, art supplies etc). Familiarize yourself with hotspots particularly in the Quarters area of downtown Make a list of local businesses or venues that might make good inclusions in your story. Brainstorm ideas of how to incorporate your particular niche into the story that your team is creating. Daydream about what you’d spend the $3k grand prize on if your team wins.

- Get to know your fellow participants by joining our Discord Server, check out our "Friends you havn't met yet" drive to learn more about the other participants, and see our ongoing blog about what you can expect at this week's create-a-thon! Wednesday March 20th at 6pm: Story City 101. In this virtual 45-minute session, you’ll learn everything you need to know about Story City, how to use our creator tools, brainstorm experiences with other creators, and be a part of a Q&A with our founder & CEO, Emily Craven. Join here at 6pm on Wednesday! Friday March 22 at 6PM at The Pendennis Building, Jasper Ave, Edmonton - FRIDAY EVENING KICK OFF! At this live in-person event, you’ll hear what you can expect throughout the weekend, discover everything you need to know about the full challenge, and start networking and building your teams!
