You survived your first create-a-thon (CAT). Congrats!! We we so floored by how much talent was in the room, and how much you completed in 2 short days. Thanks for bearing with us as we took time to recover from 2 create-a-thons and a conference!

There Are Additional Opportunities & Events

1. Polish Your Stories To Join the Calgary City Launch (May 17): That's right, this weekend wasn't the end. We'll be sending out feedback to each team on what they've made so far, and you have the next 6 weeks to polish it up to perfection for the summer launch of the City of Calgary project.

   1. There will be a massive marketing push from the City across the summer to the app (and your stories as a result),

   2. All you need to do is hit publish before May 17th.

   3. You can choose to list your story for a price over the summer, or have it free to let it have as wide an accessibility as possible.

2. Editorial Support Sessions! Thurs 11th April 4-5pm | Mon 22nd April 6-7pm | Weds 8th May 4.30-5.30pm

   1. We'll be running 3 editorial support sessions over the next 6 weeks as you attempt to hone your master pieces (or perhaps create new ones!). Mark them in your calendar! We'll send more details closer to the first session, but they will be online.

3. Sticker Party & Mentor Hour (??Sat 18 May 1-3pm??) While Story City is based in Edmonton, we're hoping that a CAT attendee from the Calgary CAT would be interested in acting as a Story City Ambassador to run a follow up community event so you can all see each other again!

   1. The idea is we'd get together to hear short talks from our create-a-thon alumni about their craft (let us know if you're interested in sharing some of your wisdom!) and taking QR code stickers to scatter across the city at each of your team's story locations to help the public discover your story.
