Are you ready, Friend??

The moment we've all been waiting for is almost here – the  Create-a-Thon kicks off tomorrow! So get your creative juices flowing, charge those devices + laptops, and be prepared for a weekend of inspiration, collaboration, networking, and adventure.

Remember we Start with a Friday kick off!

Friday March 22 at 6pm at the Pendennis Building, 9660 Jasper Ave.

Doors open 5.30pm - please arrive before 6pm as the front door is locked and requires staff to let you in. We have a lot to get through in our short time together, so come ready to rumble!

Call 306-530-3597 if you arrive at the building and there isn't anyone at the door to let you in.

Our kick-off event is when you will first learn the challenges, review the tools, practice for the weekend with some creative warm ups, and build teams if you don't have one already. Don’t forget to pack some water! There will be a free lunch and snacks all weekend long.

The Main Event: Saturday March 23rd (10am-6pm) | Sunday March 24th (10am-7pm)

Doors will open at 9:30 both days respectively. The only required times for you to be present will be during in person Check-ins where we meet to help you with the progress of your projects!

• Make sure you join our Discord Server to receive updates, get doors opened, and connect with the amazing resources and community members you meet this weekend! We will also be setting up a channel for each team to have their own space to create this weekend!

• Get to know some of your fellow participants here before connecting with them on Discord and in person this weekend!

• Lastly, we will be sharing them throughout the weekend, but here are our pre-recorded workshops to help you get a head start on up-skilling yourselves for the weekend. Come prepared to build stories like our winners of the Calgary Create-a-thon did a couple weeks ago, it sure helped them and I hope it helps you as well :)
