Subject: What to do when you get deeply hurt...

Hi,

This week one of my clients asked me:
'Barbara, are you never sad? You are always smiling and sunny.'

And I was like:
'Wow, I didn't really think about this before.'

Of course I am sad sometimes and yes, I have been hurt many, many times. But the hurt has always been the greatest teacher to detach and empower myself.

When you are a caring person and a giver, sometimes you get hurt and disappointed. Unconsciously, we expect the same amount of love and caring from the other person. BUT expectations and needing the attention and approval from someone else is a sign that you are feeling that you are not enough.

At that moment of the hurt it is very important to detach from the words and the actions of the other person. What they say and do is always a reflection of their state of mind at that moment, of their level of awareness.

So it never helps you to go into blame and but instead raise your awareness on the lesson, how to take care of yourself, how to stay close to your heart and know your worth.

At the same time, allow your sadness, be compassionate towards yourself. Allowing the feelings will make them dissolve. Your feelings and emotions are like clouds, they pass...

Connecting with that powerful light within you, makes you so much stronger, the need for approval fades away because you realize your own worth, beauty and light.

And that is what I am talking about in my weekly live broadcast on Facebook, you can watch it here

Sending you tons of love <3
Barbara.
