Just wanted to check how you were doing.
I've been working hard on a new program that I will be announcing soon :)
And here are some recent insights that I wanted to share with you.
Every single day we are overwhelmed, overwhelmed by the chatter of our mind.
It commands us, it pressures us, it stresses us, it frightens us.
This voice creates our daily melodrama's and in most of our conversations we are ruminating all these little and big drama's. Chewing over and over again why someone said this to us or about us.
Can we free ourselves from this commanding voice inside our head?
We can, by simply observing the voice, witnessing it and not being at the mercy of our mindchatter.
We are not our thoughts since we can observe our thoughts and we choose every single moment on which thoughts we focus.
We are not our thoughts, we are the ones observing our thoughts, the consciousness behind it.
In training ourselves to watch our thoughts and de-taching ourselves from them, we are a lot less stressed, we create space, we are so much more powerful.
The realization that we are not our thoughts is one of the most liberating as a human being.
If we are having fearful thoughts, we don't have to believe them, it is our choice if we focus and enlarge these fearful thoughts or if we just let them pass by and move on to the next thought.
In choosing on which thoughts we focus, we shape our life.
You can live from this spacious place where you ARE, a space where you only breathe when you breathe, a space where you only eat when you eat, a space where you only walk, when you walk, and where you de-tach from each thought that passes by in the meantime...
