Subject: Message from LA about this special day...

Sending you a message from LA because this is a very special day for me.

On April 7th 2003, exactly 13 years ago, I was told that I had an incurable cancer and only 6 more months to live. As you probably know, I survived after a year of surgeries and chemotherapy.

Until this day, I am grateful for my 'second life'. It taught me that everyday can be the last day and that we have to be our best possible self and live each day at its fullest...

For me, this is really a day to celebrate life and I hope you can do it with me.

Being grateful for this miracle of life...
Letting your heart sing today...
Doing a little dance on your own or with someone you love...
Laughing with some good friends...
and especially saying to the people you love, how much you care about them and how much they mean to you...

You would make me a happy woman if you did one of those things today :)

As always, sending you lots of love (from the US this time),
Barbara.

PS on this day I am even more moved by this 3 minute video and I know you are going to love this too. More importantly, this video and the information it contains could literally save your life or the lives of those you care about most.

The video is a moving introduction to a docu-series called, "The Truth About Cancer," that explores some "other" answers besides the traditional, and often failing approach we've taken in the fight against cancer.

Watch the video here.
