First of all, I hope you are enjoying your Sunday and I thank you for taking the time to read this.
Before taking the flight home, I wanted to share some insights from my journey in LA.
I had an extra day yesterday to visit the city and its surroundings and these are the thoughts I wanted to share with you :)
First of all, this is the first time since very, very long time that I did sightseeing without my husband and kids and I missed them a lot. I realized once again that even when you are visiting the most beautiful treasures on earth, if you don't have anyone to share it with, it loses much of its charm.
We, human beings are social animals, and focusing on building loving relationships with the people around us is essential for our wellbeing. Your spouse, your husband, your kids, your parents, your friends, your family, there is an abundance in those relationships that cannot be underestimated.
This may sound trivial but it is certainly not.
This is one of the things that struck me most when I was very ill and in hospital. The moment you are so sick, it doesn't matter if you live in a castle or a tiny house, the only thing that matters at that moment is the love and support of the people around you.
The coming days I will share some more insights and the beautiful thing in life is: it is through experiences that we learn most. I knew already how much I love my husband and kids but only by being so far away, I realized it. The experience of being alone makes me value my family life even more.
And that's what we came here to do, appreciating love and light through moments of darkness and pain. Seeing it, embracing it, and knowing that the love and light are always there even in moments of darkness and pain.
We were born innocent and loving, life puts us through experiences to make us value our love, light and beauty even more.
It is impossible for us to lose our light, we covered it up, but we can uncover it again.
I am wishing you a wonderful Sunday in Spring, sending you love as always, reflecting the love that is in you, Barbara.
Please make sure you check out this trailer. I hope you register to watch the whole series, too. I’ll be certainly watching it!
