The information, advice and guidance we give our young people stays with them forever. It is vital that we understand how changes to legislation and policy - and other sector developments - will impact and influence their lives.
Staf's Stirling Managers' Forum is taking place on 11th September from 10am to 3pm.
Join Paul Beaton (Age of Criminal Responsibility Team Leader at Scottish Government) and Ben Farrugia (Head of Development and Innovation at CELCIS) as we:
- Discuss what we can learn and implement from the findings and recommendations outlined in the Frameworks Institute report on Mapping the Gaps Between Expert and Public Understanding of Care Experience and the Care System in Scotland.
- Explore the Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Bill to understand how the changes to the minimum age of criminal responsibility will affect our services.
- Hear from colleagues across the country, participate in discussion and share best practice.
As with all of our forums, there will be ample time to network with peers, to discuss issues arising within the sector and to share best practice. In addition, lunch will be provided on the day.
Feel free to forward this email on to your network - I hope you can join us.
With best wishes,
Norma
