Practitioners' Gathering announced

Hi Friend,

We are delighted to announce that on 22 October, during this year's Care-Experienced Week, we will hold a special free Practitioners' Gathering event in Stirling's Albert Halls - Celebrating Connection.

Celebrating Connection will be a fun and interactive day, and a great opportunity for care-experienced young to connect with those who support them, as well as the wider Corporate Parenting family.

It's free to all members and care-experienced young people but spaces are limited so booking is essential. If you're not a member but are a Corporate Parent or support care-experienced young people then we'd love for you – and the young people you support – to join us too.

And if you've not secured your place at the We Care conference yet then you better be fast, just a few spaces are left on this event on workforce wellbeing and trauma-sensitve care. Don't miss out - secure your seat today here

I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!

Kind regards,

Liam

It’s been a big year with a lot to celebrate so we’re holding a special Practitioners Gathering on Care Experienced Week. This fun and interactive day will be an opportunity for care-experienced young people to connect with those who support them, as well as the wider Corporate Parenting family. Importantly, it has been designed around the wishes of the young people involved in Youth Just Us. Find out more about Youth Just Us here

Limited tickets available

This event will be of interest to you if you are taking your organisation or team on a journey towards trauma-informed practice and are working directly with young people impacted by trauma or neglect.

At We Care, you will gain greater confidence and new practical skills to lead, implement and embed trauma-informed practice in your organisation. We will focus on one of the key elements of becoming a trauma-informed organisation: supporting the wellbeing of the workforce.

We are delighted that Tony Bloemendaal, a fellow of the ChildTrauma Academy founded by world-renowned trauma expert Dr Bruce Perry, will join us for this exciting one-day trauma training event. Tony will also be joined by his colleague Dr Roland Verdouw, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Robin Fancourt Memorial Scholar with the ChildTrauma Academy.

Only 25 tickets remaining – make sure you don’t miss out!
