The solar industry experienced somewhat of a shock last week when South Korean premium solar panel producer LG announced it was getting out of the panel production game. It has committed to honouring its warranties and LG's solar battery business will continue.
 
While LG may be quitting solar panels, demand for modules along with batteries and other renewable energy kit is only going to grow globally.
