Hi everyone,
The solar industry experienced somewhat of a shock last week when South Korean
premium solar panel producer LG announced it was getting
out of the panel production game. It has committed to honouring its warranties
and LG's solar battery business will continue.
While LG may be quitting solar panels, demand for modules along with
batteries and other renewable energy kit is only going to grow globally. The question is,
do we have enough critical minerals for a solar and battery powered future?
Ronald says yes - find out why in his
(very) deep dive into this topic.
Over to nuts and bolts solar stuff - if your solar inverter is installed in direct sunlight, its performance, longevity and warranty may be at risk. It needs to be shaded.
Here's
an option.
