On a related note, good quality solar panels should provide decades of service - but poor quality panels are becoming a more common sight in landfills. Queensland’s Bundaberg Regional Council is whacking a hefty fee on disposing of unwanted solar panels at its waste facilities; adding to high cost of cheap and nasty solar (which is best avoided in the first place).
