Hi everyone,
Welcome to another issue of the Solar Quotes weekly newsletter - please feel free to forward it on to others.
The big - and disturbing - news of the past week was the ACCC's report on
electricity pricing in Australia. It contained 56 recommendations, including the
premature winding down and axing
of Australia's solar subsidy. Needless to say, reactions
from solar supporters were anything but positive. SQ's Ronald has
published his
take on it here.
In other home solar news, residents of sunny Broome in Western Australia are
still being prevented from installing solar panels - find
out why.
On a more positive note, Gladstone Regional Council has given the green light
for the 300MW
Rodds Bay Solar Farm and SA Water is moving closer towards its Project
Zero goals with the assistance of solar.
