It seems Australia is nowhere near close to achieving its full rooftop solar potential. A new report states 6GW of residential solar capacity is in place across Australia - but the potential is for anywhere from 43GW to 61GW.
 
While the excellent returns from going solar mean uptake should continue to be brisk in the years ahead, some solar salespeople continue to gild the lily in relation to future electricity price increases. It's not necessary and this practice has to stop.
