"The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Longitude 1er Cru sizzles with tension and energy. Chalk and limestone soils in the villages of Vertus, Cramant and Oger give birth to a Champagne endowed with so much vibrancy. Citrus, yellow flowers, spice and baked apple tart add aromatic nuance, but it is the wine's pure drive and texture that stand out most. This is a fabulous showing."
Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"The vins clairs receive an extended aging in casks and tanks prior to the blending in July following the harvest and then spend a minimum of two more years aging sur latte, with the blend always including 30% reserve wines from the Domaine’s solera started in 2004. It was finished with a dosage of four grams per liter and offers up a fine nose of tangerine, pear, chalky minerality, brioche, hazelnut, and a floral topnote. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with excellent balance and grip, elegant mousse and a long, complex and bouncy finish."

LARMANDIER-BERNIER
BLANC DE BLANCS LONGITUDE PREMIER CRU EXTRA BRUT NV
"Longitude is a selection from vines in Vertus, Oger, Avize, and Cramant, one Premier Cru and three Grand Cru villages that align on the fourth meridian. Farmed and vinified the same way as Terre de Vertus, this blend includes 40%t reserve wines going back to 2004. What the Larmandiers have accomplished through their meticulous farming is compellingly apparent in the glass: the scent itself is sexy and grand, a scent like soil made of seashells. The shape of the wine is beautiful, with a luscious acidity adding spice to the pale white fruit. The flavors might bring to mind a crunchy apple, Marcona almonds and hazelnuts, but mostly they create a lasting impression of Champagne, of the Côte des Blancs and its parallax view of restraint and sheer hedonism."
