Alberto’s son Antonio, who is the current owner of the winery, decided to diversify into other areas and during an exploratory trip in 2004 was captivated by Bolgheri’s charms. The future of the winery has been entrusted to the third generation, his sons Antonio, Alberto, and Amedeo, and holds a forthcoming surprise: the creation of a Bolgheri Superiore wine which will reveal the full potential of this extraordinary terroir."

Complex and decidedly spicy, it offers notes of sandalwood and crushed stone. Full bodied, with perfectly ripe and integrated tannins and a compact and solid finish that does not relent. Aged 18 months in mainly new French oak barrique. A blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc."
