"The second wine of this beautiful estate certainly doesn't taste like a second wine, and the 2018 La Gravette De Certan certainly put a smile on my face. Based on 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in 50% new barrels, it has the same supple, seamless, sexy style of the Grand Vin .... Redcurrant, truffle, tobacco, hints of chocolate, and damp earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful core of sweet fruit, silky tannins, and a great finish. It can be drunk today or cellared for 15 years or more."

Silky and exceptionally polished, the 2018 oozes class. Moreover, the heavy extraction and strong torrefaction notes that marked previous vintages of the recent past have been replaced by beautifully precise, vibrant fruit. Tour Saint Christophe is one of best values in Saint-Émilion. I haven't always loved Tour Saint Christoph, but I love the 2018. It's a fabulous effort from Technical Director Jérôme Aguirre and his team. Don't miss it."

"Produced from 35+ year old vines, this wine is vinified dry from a single vineyard parcel on one of the highest points in the appellation. The soils here are comprised of silex (flint) and a small amount of clay over limestone bedrock. Always dry, this is one of the purest expressions of Montlouis that one can find. Plenty of minerals, pear and some quince in the nose, the acidity is crisp and intense giving way to a full wine that opens up over the palate leaving more quince and river rock sensations."

The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, good weight, a little chewiness towards the finish, though the Volnay Ronceret has a little more precision and charm.”

"Located at the end of the Plateau de Brossay, which is unique to Saumur in that it does not have limestone. The site is slightly convex with fresh and windy exposure. Bbiodiversity is of paramount importance and no chemicals are used in the vineyard. Young Chenin vines and yields of 7hl/ha. Flint with gravel and clay soils. Hand harvested. Native yeast fermentation in egg-shaped concrete tanks. No racking before aging. Winemaking is approached naturally, so depending on the vintage, there is spontaneous malolactic fermentation."

"Made from a blend of several traditional local grape varieties: Bosco (60% of the blend), Vermentino (20%) and Albarola (20%). The vineyards that produce this wine are situated on south-facing slopes in the hamlet of Volastra in the town of Riomaggiore, the heart of the breathtaking Cinque Terre region. In this instance, Lugano opts to leave this cuvée on the lees for an extended period of time, respecting the old traditions of the region. The result is a full-bodied, earthy wine of immense character, almost briny, with a deeper golden tint to its color than is found in his other whites and marked by the aromas of heather, broom and juniper."
