Tustin, California----Spectrum Wine, a leading wine auctioneer and retailer, is excited to announce that it has acquired Legend Cellars Fine Wine Storage and its facility in Irvine California. This brings the available refrigerated storage space under Spectrum Wine’s umbrella to over 20,000 square feet with nearly 900 lockers and walk-in units.
Jason Boland, President of Spectrum, notes, “Prior to this acquisition we offered refrigerated storage space in Newport Beach and Tustin. Given our large local customer base and longstanding relationship with Legends, this move made perfect sense for us and greatly expands the options we can offer our clients.”
Scott and Jennifer Osumi who have run and built Legends into the business it is today will be joining the Spectrum Wine Team to manage the facility and will continue to provide the excellent personal service its customers have come to expect. Boland goes on to comment, “We’re thrilled to welcome Scott and Jennifer to the team and look forward to ongoing continuity during the transition which will ensure our level of service stays at its peak and business continues as usual.”
Earlier this year Spectrum Wine acquired Rolf’s Wine & Spirits greatly expanding its retail client base and adding its Newport Beach Wine Storage facility to its portfolio. Founded in 1953, Rolf’s has been a landmark wine retailer for over half a decade and is the oldest wine purveyor in Orange County. Parallel with the Legends acquisition, store owner and manager Rick Webster also joined the Spectrum Wine team adding an incredibly knowledgeable and respected wine professional to its management team.
Together these new ventures mark a new era for Spectrum Wine greatly expanding its footprint and available services in Orange County. Boland concludes, “We are extremely excited to be able to bring new synergies, new products, and new services to our rapidly growing global customer base and very much look forward to the future ahead.”
