Pahlmeyer Chardonnay
2015 Napa Valley - $79.99
RP 96 / WS 95 / WE 95
#9 on Wine Spectators Top 100 List!

“The 2015 Chardonnay... has that noteworthy greenish hue to its light-gold color, which I consider a high-sign of quality. Orange blossom, tangerine oil, mango, subtle smoky wood, a full-bodied texture, terrific purity and acidity, great fruit and a long, long finish are the stuff of great California Chardonnay.” Robert Parker 96 Points

“This offers a gorgeous mouthful of rich, buttery Chardonnay, loaded with exotic tropical fruit, pear, melon and pineapple flavors. Impressive for its opulence and silkiness, a nice combination.” Wine Spectator 95 Points

“Gorgeous aromatics of heady voluptuousness conjure elements of caramel, honey and baked apple behind a golden hue of color in this memorable, no-holds-barred white. The flavors follow through along a lengthy layered pathway lined in sparks of anise and key lime, finishing in juicy crisp acidity.” Wine Enthusiast 95 Points
Booker My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon
2015 Paso Robles - $79.99
WA 97+
“This is the first vintage of this wine with no Syrah in the blend. Blended of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Petit Verdot, the 2015 My Favorite Neighbor Proprietary Blend sports a deep garnet-purple color and is scented of fresh, ripe black currants, black berries and preserved plums with hints of menthol, violets, cigar box and wild thyme. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a great core of ripe, bright, seductive black fruits supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Mind-blowing.” Wine Advocate 97+ Points

“Though tannic and chewy, the flavors are beguiling, with notes of dark berry, boysenberry, cardamom and light cedary oak. Sails along on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.” Wine Spectator 91 Points

Maybach Materium Cabernet Sauvignon
2014 Weitz Vineyard, Oakville, Napa Valley
375 mL - $239.99
750 mL - $449.99
1500 mL - $924.99
RP 100
"The flagship, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, represents 560 cases and achieved 14.8% alcohol after aging in 90% new Taransaud and Darnajou casks. Remarkably, the wine matches the perfect 2013, with extraordinary fragrance of blueberry, blackberry, forest floor, truffle, spring flowers and background barbecue smoke followed by a thick, unctuously textured, juicy, but incredibly well-balanced, intense wine. This is built like a skyscraper with enormous quantities of blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, well-integrated acidity and sweet, gentle tannins. This is an extraordinary effort from Maybach that can be drunk now or cellared for up to 30 or more years." Robert Parker 100 Points
Le Viuex Donjon Chateauneuf-Du-Pape
2015 Rhone Valley, France - $54.99
WS 95 / WA 93 / VM 93
“Rich and dark in profile, with delicious, velvety layers of warm fig, black currant and blackberry confiture moving through slowly, flecked with hints of ganache, roasted apple wood and tar. The finish has cut to match the heft. A real brick house that will age well.” Wine Spectator 95 Points

“These days, Vieux Donjon is one of the few estates in the region making only a single cuvée (Close des Papes is another). The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape is a floral, violet-scented wine that's supple and ripe. Only medium to full-bodied, it showcases complex garrigue and licorice notes rather than oodles of red fruit and comes to a long, silky finish.” Wine Advocate 93 Points

“Light bright yellow. An intensely perfumed bouquet displays mineral-accented tangerine, pear and jasmine, backed by a deeper suggestion of honey. Energetic citrus and orchard fruit and honeysuckle flavors coat the palate and show excellent clarity. Impressively concentrated yet lithe; the very long finish features a suave, repeating floral note.” Vinous 93 Points

Orin Swift Abstract Red Blend
2016 Saint Helena, Napa Valley - $29.99
Ripe, rich nose of blackberries and blueberries. Balanced and rich in the mouth with notes of dark toffee. Long and lovely finish!

From the Winery: "The 2016 vintage was incredibly gracious to Abstract, despite another year of drought. A seamless blend of mainly Grenache, Petite Sirah and Syrah, this iteration is dense, concentrated and packed full of ripe red and dark fruits . For this vintage, we incorporated more select vineyards from across Northern California and continued to work with growers to meet our high viticultural standards."

Could be the best Abstract so far!
Altos de la Hoya Monastrell
2015 Jumilla, Rioja, Spain - $11.99
WA 90
"The 2015 Monastrell Altos de la Hoya is dry-farmed, ungrafted, old Monastrell with some 5% Garnacha fermented in 10,000-liter stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and aged in used barriques and larger oak vats for six to eight months. This is more serious and has more depth and concentration, with black fruit and the oak nicely integrated into the wine. There are mineral notes of graphite and earth and a medium-bodied palate with fine-grained tannins and a tasty finish. 200,000 bottles produced." Wine Advocate 90 Points
Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon
2013 Napa Valley - $114.99
Nose of dark lavender and medium, clean oak. Flavorful, medium rich with background oak and hint of baking chocolate. Medium tannins coat the mouth.

From the Winery: "Our 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. It was blended in early 2014 and aged for 24 months in 85% new American oak and 15% one-used American oak barrels from our Missouri cooperage, The Oak. Early blending assures a balanced core and allows all components to achieve a seamless harmony during barrel aging."
