Robert Craig Affinity 2007
". . . exhibits more graphite, but in essence is similarly elegant, with supple tannins (although more velvety than in the 2006), very young, primary black and blue fruit notes, and superb concentration, texture, and length. This is an exceptionally promising wine . . ." ~ 96, Robert M. Parker Jr., The Wine Advocate

Château Lynch-Bages 1999
"Very deep crimson. Seductively, spicily scented. Round, with tannins well hidden. More impact . . . on the palate than most, but the tannins are certainly there." ~ 18, Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com

Château Haut-Batailley 1999
"Fresh and vivid red, with floral and berry character throughout. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a focused, clean aftertaste. A fine claret." ~ James Suckling, Wine Spectator

Dominus Estate 1995
". . . Moueix and his talented winemaking team continue to rewrite the definition of a Napa Valley reference point wine . . . . a ripe, plummy, supple, expansively-flavored wine with copious quantities of black currant fruit. Full-bodied . . . it possesses exceptional concentration and purity. ~ 93, Robert M. Parker Jr., The Wine Advocate

Château d'Armailhac 1995
"Gorgeous aromas of crushed currant, flowers and Indian spice. Full-bodied, with fine tannins. A little tight still. Give this time to show what it really has." ~ 92, James Suckling Wine Spectator

Château Langoa Barton 1995
"Aromas of violet, blackberry and cherry. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, rich finish. Pretty and rich and just coming around. This is excellent quality . . ." ~ 92, James Suckling, Wine Spectator

Seavey Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 1994
"After retasting the 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon, I was even more impressed. Made from low yields of approximately 2 tons of fruit per acre, from Seavey's east-facing hillside vineyards in the Conn Valley, the 1994 exhibits an opaque purple color, and an exuberant yet still young and unformed nose of spice, black fruits, and cedar." ~ 91, Robert M. Parker, The Wine Advocate

Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 1992
". . . continues to display the remarkable richness and opulence it possessed from cask. The wine offers a saturated dark purple color, a jammy, plum, black-cherry, herb, and spice-scented nose, expansive, chewy, full-bodied flavors, superb depth . . . and a blockbuster finish. It should drink well for more than two decades." - 95, Robert M. Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate

Heitz Cabernet Sauvignon Trailside Vineyard 1992
"Smooth, ripe and harmonious, with a supple core of currant, herb, dill and sage notes, the flavors fanning out on the finish to reveal a coffee note. The texture is silky and the finish lingers." ~ 90Wine Spectator

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon 1991
"Dark color. Sturdy, rich and concentrated, with complex currant, black cherry, tar and plum flavors . . . a very impressive, concentrated wine." ~ 90, James Laube, Wine Spectator

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 1988
"Aromas of black olive, blackberry and currant. Complex and fascinating. Full-bodied, with soft and velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Pretty and satisfying." ~ 92, James Suckling, Wine Spectator

Château La Lagune 1986
"This wine continues to get better and better, yet is still not close to full maturity, despite what I would have thought 16 years ago. The wine has a dense, dark plum/ruby color with just a bit of lightening at the edge. A sweet nose of black cherries intermixed with balsam wood, vanilla, and Provencal herbs has an almost Rhone-like character to it. The wine is medium to full-bodied, rich, with a lot of flesh, light to moderate tannin, and great balance and purity." ~ 90Robert M. Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate
