| | | Over forty years of doing business in France and Italy have given Kermit Lynch a level of expertise that few in the wine industry can boast. He was the first to champion the benefits of unfined and unfiltered wines, long before they had become fashionable. This belief is really a matter of taste, and the proof has always been in the glass, offering a purer expression of fruit and an unadulterated reflection of the terroir. Every year, Kermit enjoys a creative collaboration with some growers to find the best of their selections. Together, they work towards creating a final blend that showcases the region in all its glory at a price point that is difficult to match. |
| | | | Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature 1er Cru NV - $39.95 “Made only from hand-picked Chardonnay Vertus Premier Cru old vines, Brut Nature contains no added liqueur. A harmonious wine, with citrus notes, fine, fruity and balanced in the mouth. It bursts with intensity and freshness.” Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant
Brut 1er Cru Grand Réserve NV - $34.95 “The NV Brut Grande Réserve 1er Cru is bright and energetic, but also a touch ethereal in feel, especially on the mid-palate. Almond, chamomile, dried flowers and lemon are all nicely delineated in the glass. The presence of Pinot is felt in the wine's fruit profile and overall feel. Hints of smoke, licorice, dried flowers and mint add intrigue throughout.” 92 - Vinous Blanc de Blancs Brut 1er Cru NV - $39.95
“The NV Blanc de Blancs Brut 1er Cru is gorgeous. Bright and taut in the glass, but with terrific depth, the Blanc de Blancs manages to be crystalline in its expression while avoiding any hint of austerity. Lemon peel, white orchard fruit, crushed rocks, sage and wild flowers are some of the many notes that develop in this pure, Chablis-like Champagne. I loved it.”

| | | | Brut 1er Cru Cachet Or NV - $34.95 “It’s the Champagne you should always have chilled in your fridge—the gold standard, if you will. An even blend of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, it’s creamy and mineral at the same time. Thirty-six months spent on the lees give it profoundness and a long finish, and you will forget time while sipping on this classic treasure throughout the evening” 95 - Wine Advocate
Brut Rosé 1er Cru NV - $49.95 “This is made in the traditional oeil de perdrix style, prevalent in Champagne before Dom Pérignon and his contemporaries began sorting out the press fractions. The blend includes 85 percent pinot noir, almost all of it direct pressed, producing a wine with the kind of pale pink color that’s hard to resist. There’s a whisper of tangy, forest-fresh wild strawberries in a brisk, cool springtime scent. The texture is delicate, with creaminess that’s light and ethereal.” 95 - Wine & Spirits |
| | | | Brut Réserve Grand Cru NV - $39.95 “Chantale Bara’s current disgorgement of the Réserve includes wines from 2010 and ’11, the blend focused on pinot noir (80 percent). It’s a rich and supple wine from Bouzy, with an underlying briskness, an integrated chalk line of acidity that keeps it refreshing and clean. The cool green-herb undertone will complement fish in a béarnaise sauce.” 91 - Wine & Spirits
Brut Rosé Grand Cru NV - $44.95 “...Red fruits dominated by wild strawberry and cherry, and the typical peppery note of Pinot Noir. [The] palate mirrors the nose with strawberry and raspberry flavours, leading into notes of freshly baked viennoisseries and a morello cherry finish.” 93 - Wine Spectator
Brut Grand Cru Comtesse Marie de France 2006 - $125.00 “This wonderfully mature champagne reveals a deep and structured nose of juicy fruits, such as yellow peach and overripe apple. Candied notes verging on honey and fresh baking aromas then appear, with a delicious hint of praline and nougatine. Tasty and full in the mouth, with more of the pleasing aromas of the nose, as well as a hint of citrus peel and a slight peppery touch on the finish. This is a rich, full and generous wine, which will be perfect for a meal served exclusively with champagne.” 95 - Wine Spectator |
