| MEET THE ZENITH COLLECTION PART II: AN ILLUSTRIOUS LIBRARY OF CALIFORNIA RARITIES. THIS IS AN EXTRAORDINARY, ONE-OF-A-KIND COLLECTION.
This single-owner collection has been lovingly, obsessively, punctiliously amassed over the last 15 years by a man whose love for the world’s diversity of wines – their origin, their vineyard, their story, their fashioning – is palpable. And he chose to focus his estimable energy on (primarily) the greatest and rarest wines of California. Today we are honored to bring this breathtaking cellar to you.
Every acclaimed American winery is represented in this prodigious cellar, from the Napa Valley’s most historic names (Diamond Creek, Philip Togni, Shafer) to the tightly-allocated superstars (Sine Qua Non, Saxum, Harlan, Abreu, Colgin) to the newly acclaimed young Turks who are striving to push the quality envelope even further (Realm, Bevan, Nine Suns, Myriad, MacDonald).
The cellar was hand-packed by Spectrum Wine Auctions specialists in two locations – in the consignor’s professionally-managed temperature- and humidity-controlled wine storage facility as well as in his custom-built, temperature- and humidity-controlled home wine cellar – and transported under constant, careful temperature control to our new, state-of-the-art wine facility in Tustin CA. 100% of lots were acquired upon release by the consignor and stored by him under ideal conditions ever since. Virtually all wines – with a handful of exceptions, e.g. the Bordeaux – were acquired direct from the wineries themselves via mailing list.
Indeed, as we finished packing the cellar, the consignor invited me into his office to show me an enormous folder of alphabetically-ordered receipts, thank-you letters, and shipment notices (“there are a lot more of these folders in the garage,” he noted). And he has thus generously offered to provide such documented proof of acquisition for any of the wines in his collection, should you, dear bidder, require any.

All lots are located at our facility in southern California and are available for pick-up or shipment immediately upon winning.
