Husband and Wife team, Amy Christine MW and Peter Hunken are producing some of the best wines in the Central Coast today. Their house is called Black Sheep Finds and Holus Bolus is one of their small négociant labels focusing on Rhône varietals, with traditionally-oriented Syrah representing the majority of the production. They also retain an estate project called The Joy Fantastic under which they grow Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay at the far western end of the Santa Rita Hills. This low-yielding vineyard (usually around than 1 ton per acre) is planted right next to the world-famous Domaine de La Côte's vineyards, and the wines being produced here are of extraordinary quality - and can be acquired at an extraordinarily affordable price.
