| | Located in the Suvereto wine region just south of Bolgheri, on the coast, Montepeloso is known for its red blends as most Bolgheri wines are. The ‘Eneo” is a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano. The wine is bold, muscular, but with no hard edges. It is mouth-coating, velvety and extremely well-balanced. A gorgeous deep garnet in the glass, it pairs perfectly with hearty pasta dishes as well grilled meats. At $39, it is stunning! |
