All of Rémi’s wines show a breathtaking clarity of terroir, which come from the impeccable farming and a simple hands-off approach in the cellar…
“Jobard's style has evolved step by step: today, the wines see two winters on the lees, and élevage is largely in Stockinger foudres. The result is a precise, almost minimalist style that produces Meursault of unusual transparency: classy wines that evolve slowly in bottle." – William Kelley, Wine Advocate
A golden straw color in the glass, this Chardonnay is a great expression of what a true Meursault should be. It comes from six Domian parcels in Meursault directly below the village. From 40+ year-old vines, the wine is aged 50% in ‘barrique and 50% in larger older foudre. The result is an extremely well-balanced wine with a flagrant nose, soft mouthfeel and a long finish. At $47, it is a must have!
