"Aromas of blackberries, spices, sage, thyme and dark earth come through clearly. It’s medium-bodied with fine, velvety tannins that run the length of the wine and continue in a sure and straight way. Refined and very typical for a high-quality red from the Tuscan coast. 65% sangiovese, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 5% malvasia nera. Needs a year or two to open, but it’s already beautiful.” 94
