| | | Located in the Suvereto wine region just south of Bolgheri, on the coast, Montepeloso is known for its red blends as most Bolgheri wines are. Last week we offered the “Big Brother” of A Quo, the Eneo, which is an elegant and seductive wine. The A Quo is Montepeloso’s fresh young high-flier. The entry level offering, the A Quo is characterized by early accessibility, it is made using grapes from the younger vines from the estate. It is delicious and offers a great price-to-quality ratio. It is already showing the distinctive qualities of Montepeloso. Easy to drink, fresh with good balance and at $24, it is hard to beat! |
