| "The 2018 Le Prieuré, which was so impressive out of barrel, does not disappoint in bottle. It still has the seductive bouquet that oozes maraschino cherries, crushed strawberry, blueberry, and iris. The palate is much more zesty than I recall, with that blood orange component exaggerated at the moment. Very energetic and delivering real tension on the finish, this is a very fine Le Prieuré that should age with style."

Once again, I am so impressed by the wine's freshness and vitality. Sweet red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint and cinnamon all build over time, but what stands out most is the wine's exceptional balance and harmony. Technical Director Penelope Godefroy has done a magnificent job at Le Prieuré since taking over a few years ago. The 2018 is superb, and an incredible value."
