Here we go- just to answer a few of your questions and more thoughts on Simpson Protocol.
First of all yes, Simpson Protocol (SP), is what is called Advanced Hypnosis – which really means it takes the basic foundation that we learn as Hypnotists, and expands it.

As I said I am always looking for a way to do less and achieve more. SP simplifies and increase the range of anyone’s hypnosis practice. Faster, easier and a lot less work than typical forms of hypnosis. And it works with and for everything!

Yes SP works at deeper levels – our take off point is the Esdaile State (or as close as is needed that day). Now who knows what ‘levels’ and ‘deep’ mean when we are talking about the mind – but ask anyone who has ‘experienced’ these levels – there is a definite ‘feel’ at each level or depth. In the end let’s just say the deeper we go the more susceptible (open) we are to suggestion and our own mental exploration
So yes there is Light Hypnosis, light Somnambulism, deep Somnambulism, light Esdaile, deep Esdaile , light Sichort , and deep Sichort.
Esdaile is a level of natural anesthesia and catalepsy, also a place of profound relaxation and peace. Nevertheless you are still aware of what’s happening around you.
Sichort is – a place of…nothing. In deep Sichort your body is relaxed to the point where you will fall out of a straight up chair – best to be lying down! Time doesn’t seem to exist. You only recognize you have been in the Sichort state when you come out of it Sichort however seems to be a place where there is very fast natural healing. A level ‘discovered’ (it has always been there –but now recognized) by Walter A. Sichort, Sr.
After Sichort? Who knows – the mind seems infinite.

Yes also it is correct at the Esdaile level there is no real ability to communicate with a client. However in SP we use ideomotor responses (‘ yes’ finger ‘no’ finger) in an arm that DOES NOT go to the Esdaile level. We keep one arm in Somnambulism and that allows us to communicate.
And the ‘levels’ are then reached from this ‘depth’. Levels of healing, and yes many many spiritual levels for those who choose. SP reaches from the Physical to the Metaphysical.

And yes it is about the relationship, for the hypnotist, and the client, with what we call the Superconscious. In SP it is the mind of the client that does all the work, and it seems to be that ‘higher’ mind that we call the Superconscious. And the Superconscious seems to be the part of us that knows or has access to all information (crazy I know). More about this at another time perhaps.
