DID YOU KNOW?
Fairview Park was developed in 1945 by the Monongahela Valley Sunday School Association — a group of African-American churches from Westmoreland and Allegheny counties. At a time, when segregation restricted access to other public amusement parks, Fairview Park was a place the African-American community could call its own by regional African-American church groups as an alternative to the local amusement parks that excluded them. At one point, the park had a roller coaster, a merry-go-round, a skating rink, a swimming pool, softball fields, swings, see-saws, a sandbox, a petting zoo and hot-air balloon rides.

(544 E. Pittsburgh Street Delmont, PA 15626). Note: Fairview Park is located in Salem Township not Greensburg. Travel the Parkway East to the Murrysville exit Rt. 22 East. Travel Rt. 22 approximately 11.1 miles. Turn left on to Rock Springs Road (this is the first road pass Gene & Boots Candy) at the stop sign turn right on to East Pittsburgh Street, Parking is on the left side of the road.
