Life After High School is a program designed for high school students to acquire financial literacy and wealth-building skills. We refer to our students as future Legacy Builders. Our goal is to provide students with the resources needed to dismantle negative statistics that may hinder them from achieving financial freedom in adulthood. Research has shown that children who experience poverty are more likely to stay impoverished throughout adulthood due to a lack of financial knowledge and resources.

The program was created to help combat the rising epidemic of adult poverty. Resources include; interactive Financial Literacy Workshops, which will teach our participants about banking, budgeting, entrepreneurship, managing and growing their money, just to name a few. Their LAHS workbook is filled with essential information that they can apply to real life.

Our goal is to bridge the racial wealth gap. We believe as we help to close wealth gaps, we will help build healthier communities. LAHS is committed to this mission and giving our future Legacy Builders a head start in life.
