Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a Manager of Road Operations to oversee all Port Authority of Allegheny County d/b/a Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) revenue service in an effort to ensure safety, reliability, and on-time performance. Directs and supervises the Assistant Managers of Road Operations, Road Operations Supervisors, Movement Directors, and Traffic Dispatchers ensuring that these groups have all the resources required to perform their daily job duties.

Essential Functions:  

• Direct and supervise the Assistant Managers of Road Operations, Road Operations Supervisors, Movement Directors, and Traffic Dispatchers.

• Develops and implements On-Time Performance (OTP) strategies in an effort to meet the OTP goals of the Tactical Plan

• In the Directors absence, chairs the Right of Way Allocation Meeting and prepares and distributes all necessary reports and Operating Orders as required for said meeting.

• Ensures that all Road Operations personnel are proficient in using Clever CAD and can make the necessary service adjustments that allow for revenue service to remain on schedule.

• Directs and supervise the overall Road Operations reporting processes, including but not limited to; the Daily Bus DOR, IQ Software, D&A Reports, etc.
