Port Authority is seeking a Maintenance Technical Trainer – FL to provide assistance and support to the Manager of Bus Maintenance Training in the development, coordination and facilitation of training programs for maintenance and service employees and supervisors.

Essential Functions:  

• Plans, develops, presents and updates course content for training programs, including manuals and other materials.

• Communicates regularly with maintenance supervisors and managers to assess training needs, determine instructional requirements and to evaluate effectiveness of programs.

• Coordinates and schedules training for maintenance employees and supervisors.

• Provides technical troubleshooting and assistance to employees and supervisors. As an example, the Trainer trains employees and supervisors by taking out parts from a revenue service vehicle; such as AC, engine, electrical, & other parts.  They then tear apart to fix and replace back into revenue service vehicle.
