Hill Dance Academy Theatre (HDAT) is holding its seventh Spring Dance Concert entitled "Creating Expressions of Black History, Culture and Traditions Through Movement" on April 21-23 at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, 980 Liberty Avenue, and at The Morgan-Lee Arts Centre, 2900 Bedford
Avenue.

The weekend will celebrate Black dance and feature guest choreographers and professors from major universities setting choreographic works on HDAT students. The event aims to highlight the sustainability of Black dance at predominantly white institutions of higher education, career development in dance, and the contributions of Hill Dance Academy Theatre to Black dance in Pittsburgh's Historic Hill Community and beyond.
