DID YOU KNOW... that every graduate leaves tech-savvy and armed with a plan for the future?
- Every graduate completes City High’s four-year tech program where students learn everything from web basics to creating spreadsheets and business presentations. They can also earn certifications in Microsoft Office and Adobe software or participate in the student-run Robotics team.
- Every graduate completes three years of career classes, exploring college and career options, building a resume, learning interviewing skills, and developing time-management and collaboration skills.
- Every graduate meets with their college and career counselor, both individually and with their families over all four years to develop an appropriate post high school plan, including college/trade school applications, interview preparation and scholarship application assistance.
- Every graduate will gain practical experience in finding solutions through collaboration as a team with other students through project-based learning at City High.
- Every graduate will complete a 13-week mentored internship, where they get to “try-out” a career in their field while gaining valuable networking and real-world experience.
- Every graduate will learn to become an independent learner in information research, writing, problem solving and decision-making skills as well as the art of presentation. This is capped off with the Graduation Project – an independent, personalized learning project – that validates each student’s readiness for life after high school.
