Legendary saxophonist Charles McPherson has been a major force in the jazz world for more than 50 years. He entered the jazz scene in 1959 as a sideman with iconic bassist Charles Mingus, an association which lasted for 12 years. In the following years, McPherson played with countless jazz greats, including Barry Harris, Art Farmer, and Albert “Tootie” Heath, while morphing into a prolific leader, composer and educator who has continued to dazzle audiences worldwide with his rich and unique style.

Performing with Mr. McPherson are Terrell Stafford on trumpet, Chuck McPherson on drums, Jeb Patton on piano and Nathan Pence on bass.
