On Saturday, July 25, 2015, Jasiri X and 1Hood Media will host The Princess Party, presented at The City of Asylum.
In a world that cast unrealistic images of reality and singular notions of beauty upon women and girls, we at 1Hood Media thought it was imperative to celebration our communities young women as they are! Nuanced, diverse, and beautiful expressions of young womanhood!
The Princess Party is a celebration of that and more.
We will have light refreshments, games, and tea for our princesses and their chaperones. We truly look forward to seeing you! Admission is free with a suggested donation to help defray expenses.
