Style Week Pittsburgh, an annual celebratory week showcasing fashion, glamour and style, hits local venues and runways August 11-17, 2014 with two upscale Fashion Shows, Accessory Trunk Show, Jewelry Showcase, Style Awards Program, Boutique Crawl, and an invitation only Brunch Summit.
The event highlights the talented designers, boutiques, stylists, and models coming out of Pittsburgh as well as international talents who represent a globally diverse range of styles and influences, according to event Founder and Director Wadria Taylor of Style & Steel Event Planning, LLC.
“Style Week Pittsburgh is quickly gaining the fashion world’s attention locally, nationally and worldwide as it continues to springboard fashion gems from the region onto the world stage of high style,” Taylor said.
A portion of Style Week’s net proceeds will benefit Strong Women, Strong Girls, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women and girls to excel through mentorship, she said.
In line with this year’s theme ‘En Vogue’, each event during Style Week will feature a unique array of local and international brands that are the next big thing in fashion.
The weeklong event line-up includes a Kick-off Party & Designer Fashion Show, a Ready-to-Wear Fashion Show featuring Pittsburgh based Boutiques, The Accessory Trunk Show, The Jewelry Showcase, The Style Awards, a Boutique Crawl in Lawrenceville, and a Private Sunday Brunch Summit for key stakeholders in Pittsburgh fashion.

Monday, August 11, Opening Night at
The Priory Grand Hall, 6 p.m-10 p.m.
Style Week’s Exclusive Kick- Off Party and Designer Fashion Show featuring a private VIP Reception, two amazing international designers from Europe and the Caribbean, celebrities, plus musical entertainment, vendors, and special surprise guests. Attire is Fashionably Formal. General Admission: $35 in advance, VIP is $75. Complimentary Valet Parking is included with ticket purchase.
Tuesday, August 12, Accessory Trunk Show

– LUXE Indigo Square 6 p.m-10 p.m.
Shop stylish vendors all in one place at the chic LUXE showroom in East Liberty. Featuring the finest and most stylish fashion accessories for men and women via local talent with international clout. Plus more fun with Fashion Trucks, Cocktails, DJ, and more! Open to the public. No cost to attend. Donations will be accepted for Strong Women, Strong Girls.
Wednesday, August 13, Jewelry Showcase
– Presented by Macy’s at Downtown Pittsburgh - 5 p.m.
Jewelry lovers will not want to miss this presentation of exceptional fine jewelry and watches that will be on display. Pittsburgh’s top stylists will be on site to offer styling demonstrations and consultations. Additionally, guests will be treated to beauty treatments, refreshments, music, and more. The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted for Strong Women, Strong Girls.
Thursday, August 14, The Style Awards
at Uptown Ultra Lounge, 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.
The best and the most trailblazing fashion gurus are recognized for their talent in an exquisite night of celebration and musical entertainment, overlooking Pittsburgh’s beautiful skyline. Tickets are $35.
Friday, August 15, Fashion in the Skies: Boutique Fashion Show,
Uptown Ultra Lounge, 6 p.m.- 10 p.m.
Featuring fashion shows from the chicest Pittsburgh-based boutiques, vendors, plus musical entertainment and giveaways. General Admission is $25 in advance. VIP is $50. VIPs receive complimentary cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and reserved seating.
Saturday, August 16, Lawrenceville Boutique Crawl, 12 p.m - 5 p.m.
A day of shopping in one of Pittsburgh’s most fashion-forward neighborhoods. Specially selected Boutiques will offer special promotions, offers, and discounts to Style Week shoppers for 1 day only. The 1st 300 people to register online will be entered into a drawing to win $500 worth of products and gift cards from local businesses. No Cost to attend. Open to the public.
Sunday, August 17, Brunch En Blanc, 12pm-3pm
This exclusive by invitation-only Brunch will convene fashion industry professionals, movers and shakers, and key stakeholders in high style for a delicious Brunch and Summit to discuss the future of Pittsburgh and fashion. Tickets are $50.
