A dynamic Michael Jackson tribute show will kick off the 10th season of the Hillman Performing Arts Series at Shady Side Academy. King Michael: A Glorious Tribute to the King of Pop will be performed Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hillman Center for Performing Arts on the SSA Senior School campus, 423 Fox Chapel Road, Fox Chapel. Pre-show family activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and include learning the Thriller dance, bedazzling gloves and creating fedoras. Halloween costumes are also welcome and encouraged.

King Michael: A Glorious Tribute to the King of Pop is a dazzling performance that follows Michael Jackson’s extraordinary career from his early years with The Jackson Five to his stratospheric rise as the King of Pop. This multimedia spectacular includes Jackson’s greatest hits, including Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller, Man in the Mirror and more. The cast features the world’s top Michael Jackson tribute artists who can sing live while mastering MJ’s intense dance moves, as well as a world-class dance company, Grammy Award-winning vocalists and musicians, acrobatic break dancers, a beat boxer, a gospel choir and more.
