- Internal and external communications with other departments and outside agencies to resolve problems;
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions pertaining to accounts payable and accounts receivable;
Working knowledge of Abila MIP (Sage); proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel; minimum 2 year degree in finance/accounting; minimum 2 years of working experience in bookkeeping; background checks required; EOE

POSITION: Grant Coordinator
Reports to: Director, Corporate and Grant Funds
Location: Pittsburgh Office
Part-time: 15-20 hours/week
General Statement of Duties: Responsible for managing relationships with United Ways, Community Foundations and corporations within the 27 county territory.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and submit funding proposals and related reports to United Ways, Community Foundations, SECA, and CFC to cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships;
- Identify, manage and submit all EITC funding proposals and related reports to corporations located within the territory;
- Manage and complete grant reports and work in collaboration with the appropriate department;
- Adhere to the achievement of the established fund raising goals;
- Assist in carrying out the fund development annual plan of work;
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; min 3 years fundraising experience with a medium to large non-profit organization; min 2 years grant writing experience; ability to work well with others to gather required information; excellent oral and written communication skills; proven effective prospect research, educational programming and entrepreneurial drive; EOE

POSITION: Leadership Facilitator (2 positions available)
Hours: Part-time; average 10-15 hours per week
Location: City of Pittsburgh
General Statement of Duties: looking for energetic and passionate individuals to work with girls in various school districts in the City of Pittsburgh; responsible for delivering and overseeing all aspects of the assigned progressive Girl Scout leadership program; programs are fully developed and training is provided; program delivery occurs in-school, afterschool, possibly during summer, some weekends, and some evenings;
Essential Functions:
- deliver Girl Scout curriculum and programming that is girl led and encompasses empowering activities that are relevant to girls’ lives;
- coordinate and implement leadership activities and outings that may include but are not limited to camping retreats, cultural outings, and community projects, as well as Girl Scout product sales/fundraising activities;
- schedule guest speakers relevant to girl topics;
- work closely with children, parents, school liaisons and agencies;
- train and oversee volunteers which may include parents & college students;
- oversee financial transactions and budgets;
Bachelors in Education or related field; applicants must have experience working with large groups of children in grades 6-8 and/or 9-12; reliable personal transportation& valid driver’s license a must; current clearances required; excellent communication skills; $12-$15 per hour; EOE
