POSITION: Manager, Annual Giving & Major Gifts
Status: Full-time Location: Pittsburgh
Position Accountabilities:
- Determine annual giving goals for individuals with a focus on major gifts;
- Develop strategies and timelines for annual giving campaigns ;
- Coordinate and oversee all donor relations activities and initiatives;
- Conduct routine donor meetings (in person, by phone, via e-mail) to move donors on a continuum of increased giving;
- Work closely with Events Manager to create donor engagement events;
- Work closely with Marketing Department to create marketing and communications strategy and messages for specific campaigns;
Qualifications:
- 5 years of major gifts/annual giving fundraising experience in a medium to large organization;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field;
- Knowledge of donor data bases (preferably GiftWorks), excel and Constant Contact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Passion for the Girl Scout Mission, Promise and Law;
