POSITION: Leadership Facilitator
Hours: 20-25 hours average per week Pay: $12-$15 per hour, commensurate with experience Location: City of Pittsburgh
What will you do?
- facilitate Girl Scout curriculum in school, after school, summer, and possibly some weekends and evenings;
- work with girls to create adventures that are girl led, empowering and relevant to the girls of today;
- coordinate activities and outings that may include scheduling guest speakers, camping retreats, cultural outings, community projects and Girl Scout product sales;
- work in conjunction with volunteers, parents, school liaisons and program partners to enhance the girl experience;
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field;
- Two or more years of experience working with large groups of teens in grades 6-12;
- Reliable form of transportation and valid driver’s license required;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Passion for the Girl Scout Mission, Promise and Law;
- Desire to be a positive role model to young ladies;
- Clearances required;
