September is Life Insurance Awareness Month
This year across, model and mom Brooke Shields will be the spokesperson for Life Insurance Awareness Month. Her message will be "Protecting my family financially means everything to me. That's why I have Life Insurance, and you should, too." Life Happens has developed resources you can use to promote awareness month. Also, over the next several weeks we will be sending out information from our carriers to assist you in promoting it.

Updated HIPAA form required for paper applications
Aetna recently updated the required health information authorization (HIPAA) form in both our paper sales kits and online enrollment tool.
Starting September 16, 2019, any applications received with an old version of the HIPAA form will be considered "not in good order" and processing will be delayed. Agents will have 10 days to submit the current HIPAA form. If we do not receive the form by that deadline, we will close out the application.
IBA has updated out applications package's on www.ibatx.com and have ordered you a small supply of new applications. |
