World Premiere of Authentics
A New Film Featuring SMART Recovery in Its Storyline |
We are excited to announce the world premiere of a new short film about addiction and recovery, Authentics, produced by Rising Act Films, and made possible thanks to the generous contribution from the Chris and Debbie Swain Charitable Foundation.
This year has seen the release of several major motion pictures on the subject of recovery, including Ben is Back starring Julia Roberts, Beautiful Boy starring Steve Carell, and the upcoming A Million Little Pieces starring Billy Bob Thornton. What all these films have in common is that they portray AA's 12-Step Program as the only effective treatment option in their storylines.
What makes Authentics unique and groundbreaking is its focus on SMART Recovery as the basis of its narrative.
The premiere will happen Friday evening during the kickoff dinner. You won't want to miss this!
