Join in the latest research study!
What does happiness have to do with recovery?
SMART is supporting the efforts of a group of scientists from the
Recovery Research Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical
School.
They perform research to enhance continuing care for individuals in recovery from
alcohol and other substance use disorders. SMART's Research Directors have approved this study on the role of happiness
in recovery. One of the
reasons for conducting this study is that in treating addiction and researching
ways to support recovery from addiction, we often focus on the negative -- we know much less about the role positive emotions and experiences play in the
process of recovery. To fill this gap, we are seeking input from persons
in recovery via the online survey found here. Survey completion takes about 15 minutes, and is completely anonymous. |
