When I was first introduced to the final expense business. One of the things I had to learn to be successful was door-knocking. This was completely different coming from an financial service and p&c background. Where you had to learn how to set appointments. Like most agents, at first, I couldn't rationalize. Taking a lead and just showing up at someone's door unannounced. Also, all the rejection that might come along with it.
