I hope you had a great weekend. We had our Thanksgiving here in Canada this past weekend and I was blessed to take a small break and spend time with the family, especially after the hectic (but exciting) week I had last week.
Let me step back and explain ....
Two weeks ago, when I presented my session on International #PodcastDay, I got introduced to a new powerful content creation platform call Blab and I feel in love with its potential right away.
WHY?
1. It is 100% free
2. It is super easy to start your first live video broadcast with up to 4 people simultaneously (with no software to install)
3. It is super simple for your viewers to watch your broadcast and even hop on the live broadcast with you if you allow them (all they need is a Twitter account).
4. Everything is recorded for you. You'll receive an email with a link to the audio (mp3) and video (mp4) files, which you are free to do whatever you want with. (hint - you can use the audio file for you next podcast episode)
5. Live text-based chat discussions during the live broadcast so your audience can engage with you.
This is just the beginning. This platform has only been around for a few months but it is becoming the go-to platform for podcasters.
Right away after I hosted my first Blab, an idea hit me.
Wouldn't it be great if I can have all my Blab video recordings (and all the chat discussion) automatically published to my WordPress website?
