The beautiful summer has embraced me and I have been able to recover from a long year of work. I have long wanted to give feedback on my experience when I did the Dr. Simeons diet for the first time in May, but then time was busy and that's how I got to where I am today.
You were very kind, offering me all-around support, and gave good instructions, so I was able to complete the diet practically on my own. Fortunately, I have three inspiring colleagues who have done the Dr. Simeons diet several times, so I was able to ask them if necessary. I am such a self-motivated person and as soon as I got my thoughts in order, I started the 21-day diet. I am 55 years old and was at the upper limit of the weight limit. I wanted to lose a few kilos so that summer pants would fit comfortably again and most importantly - I hoped to get help with hot flashes.
The diet was quite easy for me to follow, because my mood and clarity of thought improved, I had more energy, my sleep became more peaceful, and my hot flashes also decreased in intensity and frequency (which was the best thing about it). Since I am an evening eater, it didn't cause me any problems, because the meals were very hearty and I didn't have any appetite in the evening.
Despite this, I lost 4.7 kg. But I gained a lot in other ways. I started to notice the smell, texture, and taste of food again, and it made me happy every time I ate. I was grateful that I had food to eat, I understood people who are thankful for every little thing and know how to enjoy every bite. I also understood people who have nothing to eat. I had forgotten what it felt like to be on an empty stomach, because food is always available. I really learned to eat every bite with enjoyment and gratitude. To sniff tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, apples, etc. before eating, which could be chewed in large quantities, but it didn't become monotonous, because the spices, these wonderful spices, gave so many opportunities to vary the meals.
In conclusion, I am very grateful to Dr. Simeons' diet and grateful to myself for starting the diet. I will definitely do it again, just for the sake of feeling better!
