"Three years ago, I saw a weight of 142 kg on my personal scale. This pushed me to pay more attention to what and how I was eating. Over the next two years, I managed to reduce my weight to 120 kg. However, my weight started to creep up again, and after the past year, I was weighing 126 kg. Since my parents had already done the Dr. Simeons diet several times with relatively stable results, I decided to give it a try myself.
Following their strong recommendation and with my mother as my mentor, I joined the program as a new dieter. I didn’t have high expectations, mostly doubts and fears about whether I could make it through the day with so few calories.
But the results speak for themselves – the diet period was surprisingly easy, and I began to understand why it’s necessary to consume so little energy. I was fortunate to have a great consultant – my mom – who had learned everything in great detail and was able to guide and support me. So, I didn’t have to ask a diet consultant many questions.
My mom was a huge help. Without her, a consultant could have supported me just as well.
Now, I don’t feel many drastic changes because I was already quite active before. However, I do notice that my energy is more evenly distributed throughout the day, and I feel more tired in the evenings, which has improved my sleep.
I started at 126 kg and reached a weight of 114.4 kg, losing 11.6 kg in total – that's the equivalent of an entire bucket of water! I’ve come to understand the importance of eating more frequently and having fruits and vegetables as snacks. I’ve learned to listen to my body better, and I’ve developed the habit of drinking more water.
My advice to anyone starting: be bold, and don’t fear going hungry. The hardest part at the beginning is dealing with an empty stomach after 8:00 PM when you can no longer eat."
